New Office is it worth waiting for?

Just a bit later than intended. The company this week said it will delay offering its Office 2007 business productivity software from October until after the end of this year. The extra wait may be worth it. In the process of giving the software package a new look and easier ways to use its
voluminous features, Microsoft is accomplishing the unusual: generating early interest in an upgrade of a product that has seemingly been around forever. That's no small accomplishment, considering that many people still are perfectly happy with Office 97, including their word processor, spreadsheet, database, e-mail and presentation programs. And they will wonder why they should spend hundreds of dollars to upgrade.
